Frequently asked

How long does a renovation take?

Small kitchens and baths: 4-8 weeks. Additions: 3-5 months. Whole-home renovations: 6-12 months. Custom home builds: 12-18 months. Every project gets a written schedule with milestones before contract.

Fixed price or time-and-materials?

Fixed price on 99% of what we do. T&M is only for genuinely unknowable scope (like opening a wall to find rot) — and even then, we work to a not-to-exceed cap.

Do you pull permits?

Always. Every project that requires a permit gets one pulled by us before work starts. Inspections coordinated as part of the schedule.

Can we live in the house during a renovation?

For most projects, yes. We plan the sequence with you — one bath and kitchen off at a time, dust barriers, and a daily cleanup so the house is livable at night. Whole-home gut jobs are usually a move-out.

Do you finance?

Yes — 0% for 12 months and longer terms available with approved credit. We'll walk you through options during the estimate.

What if I already have an architect?

Great — we build from your plans. We'll do a constructability review before we contract to flag anything that'll cost more or take longer than expected.

Do you do commercial and residential?

Both. Separate teams for each — the trades and timelines are different. Ask us for references from projects like yours.

What's the warranty on new construction?

12-month workmanship, 2-year MEP, 10-year structural — matches the state builder warranty framework. Written into every new-build contract.
